The Borussia Academy Shanghai is another milestone for the club in the Middle East. By merging with the renowned Ebbe Sand Soccer Academy, Borussia has gained the right partner to jointly implement a sustainable, high-quality academy approach in the Chinese metropolis.

At five international schools in the city area, the Borussia Academy offers children and young people between the ages of 5-18 years a high-class and unique access to the training philosophy that has been shaping football in Mönchengladbach for decades, thus ensuring happy faces for young and old.

The offer of the academy is complemented by the training of coaches as well as the social commitment at twelve migrant schools, in order to offer socially disadvantaged children an entrance route into football.
