Lions Back to Work for 2013: Training & Season Objectives
Dear Lions,
We are at the start of a new year—and with it, a renewed ambition!
Instead of reflecting on past accomplishments, now is the time to look ahead. The Shanghai Lions Football Club is growing stronger every year, and in 2013, our goal is to keep building our club’s reputation as a well-organized, competitive, and respected team on and off the pitch.
🔥 Saturday SIFL Lions – Defend the Unbeaten Record
We’re unbeaten in the first half of the SIFL season—but that means every opponent will now be even more determined to take us down. Let’s be clear: the title will be won in January and February, not on the final day.
- Train hard. Play harder.
- No complacency—no excuses.
- Plan your trips wisely. Be there for every match.
We’ve worked too hard to let it slip. Let’s fight for it—game by game.
⚽ Sunday SPL Lions – No Pressure, Just Performance
We’re not leading the SPL title race (yet), but that doesn’t mean we’re out of it. Without pressure, we can focus on great football, smart play, and letting others make the mistakes.
Let’s make the second half of the season our best, and climb the table with:
- Weekly commitment to training
- Full match day availability
- Team spirit & club loyalty
🧒 Young Lions – Time to Grow!
To our U18 team: every hour you spend training builds you up. Let’s push for our first win as a team and continue playing good football. Your effort now sets the foundation for your future.
We also aim to add an U16 squad next season, expanding our youth development further!
👴 Veterans & Club Spirit
Our Veterans will be back to defend their Shanghai Masters title, looking stronger every year as more Lions hit the magic number (35+!). Expect to see fierce commitment and legendary plays.
