Lions are flying high

[ SIFL ] Shanghai LIONS 7-1 Vikings FC

Lions, as repeated for a few weeks now we are off to the best ever Lions start! 6 games won and an incredible 35 goals scored and only six Christmas gifts conceded! Last season we didn’t realize the importance of scoring goals but now its in everybody’s mind! We got Benji on 7 goals as a midfielder and Dani scoring goals from every angle even scoring with his head!

This Saturday we faced the Vikings and their only mission was to stop us from scoring goals 10 players defending and creating a white wall against the “Black Blocs”! Yes it was not easy but still we managed to slip through and took a 2-0 lead at half time!

Second half we fixed our problems and found various ways to score goals! I especially liked our seventh goal in the last minute 7-1! This showed our desire to be best and as Lions we are always hungry for more. This goal can be vital in the end of the season standing! Please mark my words ! Jonny claimed the winner but his claim was rejected as he failed to score a hat-trick!

Next weekend no game but the creme de la creme of the Lions will go to Phuket to defend the title of the 7’s over there. We wish them good luck and we hope they can retain the Cup !
