The Lions roared back into action with a commanding 9–1 victory over Beaver United last Saturday, keeping them firmly atop the SIFL standings.
Despite having only one substitute, the Lions showed up full of energy and purpose. From the opening whistle, the team dictated the tempo and struck almost immediately—scoring within the first minute, a growing trademark of this season’s squad.
By halftime, the score stood at 4-0, though the actual number of chances should have seen double digits. Unlike previous seasons where the Lions sometimes eased off against lower-ranked teams, this time the pressure never let up.
