SPL Lions Roar Past Bulls in Martin “Singer’s Show”!
It was an explosive SPL matchday at Waigaoqiao, and this time it was all about the “Singer Show”!
The Lions took on Pistolera Bulls in a classic clash of styles—our side a mix of American, French, and British players, while the Bulls brought a strong German-Bulgarian backbone.
Coach Simon started with a 4-3-3 formation, and while we looked solid early on, the Bulls drew first blood. A well-taken free kick followed by a second goal before halftime had us trailing 0-2.
But then came Martin Singer. With Terao subbing out due to work and Coach Simon stepping onto the pitch himself, we found our rhythm. Within 10 minutes, Martin fired in two quick goals to level the game. Joel added another for a 3-2 lead, only for the Bulls to respond instantly.
With the score tied 3-3, Martin took full control—completing a four-goal masterclass, while Nicolas added a brace of his own to cap off a resounding 7-3 victory.
