We’re almost into December, and that means Santa is warming up for the Santa Cup draw! Scotland has confirmed their first-ever participation—great to have a bit of Celtic flair at the event!
Back to business—the SPL title race is heating up. After another exciting weekend of matches, the leaderboard has shifted, and we’re seeing intense battles at both ends of the table. Despite an uptick in yellow cards, the spirit remains strong—win or lose, friendships stay intact!
🔄 Matchday Highlights
Gremio 1–3 Flamenkos
After a long break, the Flamenkos came back sharp and punished Gremio’s uncharacteristically weak defense. Kercio pulled one back for the Brazilians, but Flamenkos held firm and took all 3 points.
Lions 8–0 ERS
Plenty of French flair on the field, but it was the Lions who roared louder. Two early goals and a first-half own goal set the tone. The second half was all Lions, with five more goals showing their superior pace and fitness. A clear statement of intent in the title race!
Japan FC 1–0 Galacticos
A tightly contested match saw Japan FC edge Galacticos with just 11 players available. The Galacticos couldn’t make their numerical advantage count.
Cowboys 8–4 Shanghai 2000
Despite squad shortages, Cowboys rallied from a 2–4 first-half deficit. Veteran striker Zhuang fired in six goals to complete a stunning comeback and propel Cowboys to the top of the table.
