U18 came back strong in second half to beat Ebbe Sand Academy

[ SPL U18 ] Shanghai Lions FC 6 – 2 Ebbe Sand Soccer Academy

We don’t know why but we started with not much motivation to win the game against Ebbe Sand Soccer Academy ! If the will to win is not there or not serious you will get punished for your attitude. That’s what happened we went 1-0 down and still we were not waking up ! They made it 2-0 and we got a goal back from Philipp who scored from a direct corner in last part of the first half we started to play better however we needed to change the mentality of the team at the half time talk.

Obviously, the talk by coach Azzeddine was not nice but very important to turn around the game as he asked the players to change the mentality and play to their capabilities ! We took control of the match in the second half and it was great to see Alvaro from Spain making his debut in the Lions team. He played very well which lifted the moral of the other players !  Jason Z  brought us back in the game with a great strike to make it 2-2. Soon he scored another one with another great strike and it broke down Ebbe Sand once we took the lead our team believe in winning and never turned back ! After a 1-2 down, we won the match 6-2 with a great team performance and superb goal keeping of Sam to sail us through !
