After few years of disette, our legends won again the Shanghai Premier League Veteran (SPL V) under the leadership of coach Bob & Nico. It has been a special/unusual season with the Shanghai lockdown hitting us hard during March to May 2022... After that we lost a few friends including captain Haroun who went overseas for new adventures. The format of the league had to be adjusted too as we lost 2 to 3 months of playing time.

Footfall wise, we had a great run with only victories until the 2 key decisive games vs. Emeralds & Japan.

• We played Emeralds first late June 2022 under Shanghai heat. It was decisive game already as we knew we'll be champion if we won that game. While we were losing 0-1 at the end of the 3rd quarter, we turned the game around in the last one scoring 2 goals for a 2-1. This positive outcome helped us secured the Shanghai Premier League Veteran tittle.
• In July 2022, we played Japan FC for the last game of the season with the championship already secured. Believe it or not, it was even hotter than the game vs. Emeralds... Kind of dangerous actually. Japan smashed us 0-4 hurting our pride a little bit... The key lesson being Japan FC to become the most dangerous counterder for the next season to come.

We ended-up then season 2021/2022 top of the chart with 30 points; 5 points ahead of Emeralds with 25 points. Japan 3rd with 23 points.
